Model:ES ARC
Use:Measures chemicals and pharmaceuticals, and cell batteries.
Introduction
Adiabatic Calorimetry provides vital thermal data in battery development, safety, performance, efficiency and life. It uses a “heat-wait-seek” (HWS) protocol, which is slower but more accurate than simple temperature scans, to detect exothermic reactions. The ARC can handle various tests, such as short circuit, overcharge, nail penetration, and crush, under adiabatic conditions. It provides comprehensive data on temperature and pressure events during thermal runaway, aiding in the development of safer and more efficient lithium batteries. The system is robust, with features like automatic door locks, exhaust systems, and explosion-proof steel casing.
